Kevin Francis

Division Manager

ABOUT KEVIN

Kevin started as a foreman in our Environmental Construction Division soon after his graduation from Towson University.  His field of study, Geography and Environmental Planning, set him on the path to become a successful foreman and in less than a year his transition to an Assistant Project Manager and now our Tree Care Division Manager.  His field experience, natural ability to grasp complicated concepts and calm demeanor have made his transition to a division manager one that has impressed many.  Now responsible for constructing and overseeing the budgets and financials for our Tree Care Division, we are looking forward to Kevin’s future with Empire.

ABOUT DOM

Dom has been an Arborist for over 10 years. In 2014 he received my Maryland tree license and spent most of my career in residential tree care as a climber, spray tech, and sales representative for A&A Tree Experts.

During his time at A&A he experienced many Arboricultural practices, from plant health care, tree pruning, removals, cabling, clearing, and more. He often would use aerial lifts and cranes to safely work in trees.

Between 2017 – 2018 Dom worked here, at Empire, as a foreman taking care of invasive species management and tree care.

Ryan Brown

Assistant Project Manager

ABOUT RYAN

Before working with Empire, Ryan was with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources working as a lead technician at various State Parks in Maryland. He also worked with the Maryland Forest Service to become a Faller for wildland firefighting. He worked on multiple crews as a tree faller along with working in the parks doing hazard tree removal and teaching chainsaw classes around the state. Ryan’s experience in park management will transition well into the superintendent role, using his passion for the environment, problem solving skills, and leadership to successfully supervise tree care crews.
